Jasmin Zambrano
M.Ed./Ed.S., Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern
Jasmin is a license-eligible Mental Health Counselor with a specific focus and training on working with young children, adolescents, and their families. She provides unwavering support and warmth to guide them on their journey towards healing, with an empathetic approach tailored to each client’s needs.

Inspired by the remarkable resilience of children, Jasmin is passionate about fostering a safe and nurturing environment where they can explore their emotions and find their voice through play. She recognizes that children possess invaluable insights into their world and values their expressive language of play as a gateway to understanding their needs and experiences. Jasmin's approach extends beyond the playroom, collaborating closely with families and educators to ensure children can carry their newfound skills and confidence into their daily lives. Jasmin is committed to supporting children in navigating academic and social hurdles while building strong collaborative relationships with all those involved in their care.

Through Jasmin’s education and clinical work, she has provided therapy to children and families using child-centered, trauma-informed, and strength-based approaches. Her clinical experience includes helping children with emotional regulation, anxiety, grief, trauma, family-related concerns, and support with neurodivergent needs. When working with older clients, Jasmin takes a person centered approach, meeting them where they are in their personal growth journey. She also uses creative approaches to help clients gain a better understanding of themselves and explore alternative ways of expressing their thoughts and emotions.

In her free time, Jasmin loves doing arts and crafts (drawing, painting, hand-lettering). She also enjoys stargazing, going out for walks, and talking with her family and friends.
