Hazel

We are excited to introduce you to a new member of our Play and Wellness Center team!

 

Hazel is a Certified Therapy Dog under Kristina Lutz, LMHC-- one of our therapists here-- and together they have undergone the necessary training and evaluations to become a Certified Therapy Dog Team. Hazel is a very gentle and affectionate dog who loves to meet new people!

Hazel will not be at our office every day, but when she is, she will mostly be with Kristina Lutz in Kristina’s individual office. There may be times you will see her while in the waiting room or hallway if Hazel needs to take an outside break between sessions.

When Hazel is here, she will be on a leash at all times. Kristina is very mindful that not everyone wants to interact with a dog in any capacity. We ask that you bring up any concerns you have with our front desk so that our team can pay special attention to your needs (ex: fears and allergies).

Additionally, confidentiality is important to Hazel. She won’t talk about you, but there is a chance that she may recognize you outside of a session. Don’t worry, she is friendly with most people, so nobody will be able to tell that she knows you!
