How do I know whether I need teen therapy or adult therapy?

Ages 12–17 work with our teen therapists; 18 and up with our adult therapists. If you're right at the line, or wondering about a younger child, tell us in the request and we'll sort it with you.

Do you take insurance?

We're an out-of-network practice, and we'll provide paperwork you can submit for possible reimbursement. We'll walk you through what that looks like before you commit to anything. You can also visit our Fees and Insurance page.

Can I do sessions virtually?

Yes, anywhere in Florida. Many teens and adults prefer it. In-person in Gainesville is available too.

Can two family members be in individual therapy here at once?

Yes: a parent and a teen, siblings in some cases, or any combination. With your consent, your therapists can coordinate care under one roof. If your family would rather work together in one room, that's family therapy.

Teen Therapy (Ages 12-17)

One neutral, trusted adult outside the family. A place for the stress, the identity questions, the friendship drama, and everything they're not telling you. Creative first, talking second, so it never feels like "therapy."

Adult Therapy (Ages 18 and Up)

Your hour. Whether you're carrying stress, trauma, a lifetime of feeling different, or you just know something needs attention, you'll be matched with a therapist who fits what you're carrying. You don't have to arrive with the right label.
