For adults, beginning the counseling process can be overwhelming. It is difficult to know where to begin and what kind of support is needed. Although, our specialty training allows all our therapists to work closely with children, we are also trained to help adults. Through individual counseling, we address issues such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, family separation, life transition, trauma, relational conflict, school/work stress, ADHD and self-injurious behavior.

For teens, there is a lot going on in life that can make life seem tough and overwhelming. Developmentally, teens are going through a unique time in life. From differentiating from the family and creating independence to navigating relationships and the pressures that go with them. Teens may also struggle with identity, self-esteem, body image, and academic problems. Any additional stressor makes like more challenging for a teen. Our work with teens involves helping them establish self-understanding, positive identity development, improving communication and decision making decisions. When appropriate, we used creative and expressive methods to allow teenagers to feel most comfortable processing difficult feelings, relationships, and situations.
