Camille Johnson

Student Intern, University of Florida Counselor Education Masters Program


Camille is currently in the Counselor Education program at the University of Florida. She is receiving specialized training to be a mental health counselor upon graduation. She will graduate in December 2021 with her Master's in Mental Health Counseling Education. Camille will be serving the families at our center throughout the remainder of her master's program.

Prior to joining our team, Camille worked at the Alachua County Crisis Center as student therapist. Camille has her bachelor's degree in English and Teaching with a background in private and public education. She brings a passion for helping children's mental health combined with the elements of teaching and education with over 6 years of experience. Camille's graduate course work prepares her with current research and skills in play therapy, group therapy, trauma therapy, and multicultural/social justice therapy.

When not in the office or class, Camille likes going on hikes and exploring the springs with her dog companion. She enjoys planting and other creative outlets like painting and listening to music.
